The Nordic Academy Leader Course provides training for volunteers to lead community groups and/or tourists for safe, beneficial and enjoyable Nordic walks. It is designed for people without a background in exercise physiology or fitness but have an interest in promoting and motivating people to Nordic walk.
It is a 1 day course containing practical and theoretical components - both of which need to be successfully completed in order to gain certification.
Pre-requisites for Participation
Completed a min. 6 hours/sessions of Nordic Walking training with a Nordic Academy NZ recognized Instructor or organisation (need Instructors proof!)
or
attended a Nordic Academy NZ Proficiency course
